The TD meeting was the opening salvo in the planning and preparatory gatherings for AIMAG 6. This will be followed by the Chefs de Mission meeting on March 4-5 and the 4th Coordination Committee meeting on March 6-7.
The OCA has requested all 36 sports including Sambo, plus two demonstration sports, to submit the Technical Handbook and Sport Requirement Book by March 15. It was also decided that the second Technical Delegates Meeting would be held in August in Bangkok.
Technical delegates from International Federations and Asian Federations visited site venues in both Bangkok and Chonburi Province. One of the main worries was over the time it would take to travel for the athletes from hotel to competition venue.
