From June 5, participants of the Asia-Oceania SAMBO Championship began to arrive in the city of Astana, where the competitions will be held. The organizers of the competitions are the President of the Sports and Combat Sambo Federation of Kazakhstan Aidos Akzhanov,
First Vice-President Manarbek Bissekenov, Secretary General Yernazar Bexultanov expressed confidence in holding the championship at a high level.
At the moment, 570 athletes from 28 countries have submitted their applications. All competitions will be held at the Beeline Arena in Astana.
The first official events will begin on June 6. A technical meeting will be held with the participation of national team officials. On June 7, a seminar for judges will begin. On this day, the first winners of the competition for the blind and visually impaired, and among veterans will be determined.
